      Dear Shubha
Indeed, modern societies have started appreciating the value of “dialogue” as it is called, amongst various groups based on religion, culture etc. In multi-racial, multi-religious and multi-lingual State like Singapore, we are all aware of the differences while keeping peace and harmony. The conversation ultimately will lead to ‘understanding’ and then harmony is possible. Singapore is an excellent example of harmony.
When the invitation came from Pure Land Learning College Association, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia and they wanted me to speak topics based on Hindu perspective, I was glad and accepted. Being a Buddhist institution, their keen interest to hear a Hindu Monk shows how much they value the ‘other’ concepts too. Thanks for your wishes!
With love, best wishes and prayers
